If so, then NYSAMP could be a valuable resource for you. With NYSAMP, the referral process is simple and the assistance provided is prompt, flexible and personalized.
Mediators are trained to work with a wide variety of disputes. While it may be wise to use mediation before conflict escalates, mediation can help in situations that involve a lot of people, complicated subject matter, strong emotions, public or private matters.
Those who refer others to mediation may continue be involved as advisors or advocates, and may be a welcome addition to the mediation. Since mediation is voluntary, it is up to the parties involved to decide who will attend.
